Staining

Enhance Natural Wood Beauty with Long-Lasting Protection

1. Cleaning & Prep

We start by thoroughly cleaning the wood surface, removing dirt, mildew, old stain, and debris using pressure washing or hand scrubbing. Once dry, we sand any rough or splintered areas to ensure a smooth, even surface. Proper prep is key — it allows the stain to penetrate deeply and evenly for a longer-lasting finish.

2. Stain Application

Once prepped, we apply a high-quality stain using brushes, rollers, or sprayers, depending on the surface and product. We work in sections to ensure even coverage, applying one or more coats based on the wood's condition and your desired finish. Whether it’s a deck, fence, railing, or pergola, our goal is to enhance the natural beauty of the wood while protecting it from UV rays, moisture, and wear.

3. Sealing for Extra Protection

For added durability, we can apply a clear wood sealer after staining. This step helps lock in colour, repels water, and provides extra protection from sun and weather — especially important for high-traffic decks and exposed structures.
